It's finally a sunny 73⁰ afternoon in Georgia and I am ensconced on my back porch once again, listening to the bird calls, and writing of old Key West -- My Happy Place.
I've made some good writing progress this week while on vacation from the 'real job'. As usual, I wish it had been more. Not that I expected to finish but further along would have been nice. I'm still in the middle of this first draft and I promise to keep plugging along until it's done, because I'm positive it will be worth it. Betsy and Theodore's story has a lot of meat to it, so to speak, which takes longer to write. And when it's done... I get to write Henry and Emily's story. I know theirs will spin faster and not just because there's a hurricane.
